Today has been a day of getting to grips with an independent query tool (DBXtra) for a client on their legacy database. Has the look and feel of Access in how you create the query and links. Requires some knowledge of the legacy database which I do not have but I am learning.
Also nearly completed some management accounts for a client after receiving the bank statements and supporting invoices this morning. 1 query and then we can publish. Then do the VAT return for them and start the year end process.
So a busy day. Also started a web page for the DBXtra support based on information that is useful and I only found via searching the web. Will see if I can get a suitable domain for the pages, complete the pages and publish. We do our own web page design and updates via KompoZer. A simple tool with good and bad features but it does allow web search optimisation.
