Week ending 9/6/17

Another non chargeable week but again plenty of fixed price first line support activity and a few quotes went out as well. So more 'noise' which is hopeful.
We did help install Nav 2017 GB demo for a new client. Not something we usually do but we were happy to help. All done and working.
First line support queries resolved included fix to pallet report re location change [Nav 2009 RTC], confirmed Visio for Nav table structure and links [Nav 2013], confirmed 'out of the box' functionality for creating POs via planning worksheet [Nav 2016], confirmed general posting setup changes required to resolve error message on journal posting [Nav 2013], confirmed best way to resolve shipped not invoiced sales order to get rid of [Nav 2013r2], confirmed sales order process in Nav same in US and UK [Nav 2013r2] and confirmed brief overview of how to use Jet Express [Nav 2013].

Quotes submitted for amendment to bespoke tables for enhanced functionality [Nav 2009 RTC], expansion of warehouse reclass journal excel load report for location field [Nav 2009 RTC] and changes to sales report document [Nav 2013r2]. All awaiting approval. Fingers crossed.

Still reviewing requirements for CHAPS export for client. Mapped fields from Nav to CHAPS file and awaiting confirmation ok. Then we will submit a quote. [Nav 2013r2].

Emailed all current clients with option to enhance fixed price first line support with new service which now includes half day on site as part of the service (details at https://www.dynamicsnavukhelp.co.uk/services/support/enhanced-first-line-support/) if the client is already paying for fixed price first line support or if not confirming the fixed price support service and options available (details at https://www.dynamicsnavukhelp.co.uk/services/support/first-line-support/). Some immediate responses ('no right now but will look at in the future') but will have to wait and see what reactions we get in the next week or so.

Also as a result of the email made some significant changes to web pages and significantly updated Bing Ads (less adverts, better links, specific time of day,no change to daily budget) and minor changes to Google Ads. So again we will have to wait and see.
That's it for this week folks.
