Week ending 7/4/17

A busy week last week - on chargeable work for a change and again on first line support.
First line support issues this week included mysterious error re new user (invalid password for windows login), gen bus posting group issue (EC purchases taken to UK as pay to vendor UK but buy from vendor EC), confirmed changes required to Nav configuration following location rename and confirmed process to post a zero value invoice from a sales order.
Developments completed last week included more changes to a previously developed report (more columns on the excel export) [Nav 2009 application, v4 database], add a new column to a page [Nav 2016] and SEPA file review and recommendation [Nav 2016] - this will continue re changes required this week.
Data migration included conversion and load of customer records to recently created new company [Nav 2016].
Other work from last week included Office 365 SMTP email test (looked ok from a Nav perspective but never received the email) [Nav 2016] and data extract (sales prices and discounts, purchase prices) for client moving to another application from Nav.
This week scheduled work includes 2 new bespoke role centres (and relevant permissions) [Nav 2016], SEPA file development work and a tweak to previously developed BACS export report [Nav 2009 RTC] as well as final test re cheque remittance report and potential work as noted next.
And this week we have a potential big job on converting Nav 2009 reports to Nav 2015. We need to restore a current copy of the live database and get more details from the client as to which reports needs converting and when the converted reports are required by. And also check we can do the job required in time.
Don't forget we are offering £100 off our day rates (T's and Cs apply) for April 2017 only.
Finally Easter this week end. Have a good one!
