Week ending 13/1/17

Apologies for delay in the blog. Out at a new client site yesterday providing Nav 2016 support.
Anyway, work completed last week:
1 day on site support for Nav 2016 implementation to plan go live for 1st Feb and identify tasks that need to be done.
Potential new client visit to discuss how we can help. Now a client and hence yesterday's on site visit.
Complete minor development to switch off stock outs if end user does not want them when creating a sales order.
On site support to discuss next stages re Nav 2013r2 support following changes to key client personnel. In London and I travel by train. Managed to leave my ipad on the train which is a first. But thanks to Charlotte Sullivan from Virgin Trains I got it back. I am a dingbat!
Completed work on permission sets for Nav 2016 implementation which are being tested this week following the go live. If you have done this before you will be aware that we expect some error messages to show up for users and when they do we will resolve. At least the users do not start as super users.
Other developments completed included adding location code to a PO dataport.
Plans for this week:
1 day on site support for a new client on Nav 2016 (recent upgrade from Nav 2015).
1 day post go live support on Nav 2016.
Draft up and send list of work requested from new client with quotes by task for approval and then we can schedule the work.
Anyway that's all for this week folks.
