The Dynamics Nav market definitely hotting up!

A very interesting week for Dynamics Nav new enquiries ranging from GL data migration for a year completed within a few days to a requirement for Dynamics Nav training for a person wanting to apply for Dynamics Nav jobs. Put in a quote for the former which confirmed conditions for completing the job within the timescale. Quote accepted but ETA for work not quick enough. Then they came back to get us to do the work with a new timescale. Signed NDA but still not doing the work. A very strange one in terms of requests we receive. Presume now 'dead in the water'.
We have had enquiries before for Dynamics Nav training for a person who wants to apply for jobs requiring Dynamics Nav experience. So first we cannot provide cost effective training for 1 person covering all the modules - we provide training to groups of users so the £600 per day we charge is cost effective per user. Better off with someone line firebrand where you pay a lot, take the exam and if you pass you get an accreditation. Second: being trained is NOT the same as experience. It is a huge ERP system so experience has to be gained from use.
Also attended a pre sales meeting with a potential client re configuring / migrating to Dynamics Nav from Sage. Provided plan and quote as requested but suspect day rates will put the client off. Sage and Dynamics Nav pricing very different.
On the chargeable work side of Dynamics Nav, work on Nav 2013 implementation moving on at a pace. Go live date agreed, all masters loaded and being approved. Transaction data migration started. So all good. A few development sign offs in the week - I think our clients are used to me being away 3 days a week. All delivered to spec and on time.
No activity on the accounts and payroll services side save the usual production of payslips. Tax year end looming but not really significant from a work perspective.
Warming up at last so may be the winter has had its last go?!?!?!
That's all folks.
