It has been a few weeks since the last blog update but I have been on my holidays.
So what has happened since the last blog?
Work completed last week:
Ongoing work re Nav 2016 implementation for European retailer included end user training instructions, development changes, development testing of xml files, posting checks. Now handed over for user acceptance testing. Still waiting for feedback. Issues yet to resolve include ftp file transfer to Nav directory.
Completed 2 new report developments for export to excel re stock. [Nav 2009 RTC].
Completed on site training for London client on Nav v5 DE.
Configured live company for resources and quotes for a client on Nav 2013r2 following successful user acceptance testing.
Completed on site support for management accounts handover to new financial controller.
Quiet a few potential new client enquiries re Nav 2016 implementations so prospects looking good. Will get more of an idea re timescales and what work we are needed for 1 particular project this week.
So a little quieter in June compared to previous months.
This week plan's include on site training visit, response to UAT on Nav 2016 implementation and report changes development for cheque and remittance [Nav 2009 RTC].
Other work: dynamicsnavukhelp web site has had an update (just the home page for now but more to follow) following a consultation with a marketing expert (thanks Jonathan) so let me know what you think. One of Jonathan's recommendations is to carry out another customer survey (last one completed in 2014) so watch this space.
That's all for this week folks.
Monday 27 June 2016
Monday 6 June 2016
Week ending 3/6/16
Continuing with Nav 2016 implementation last week with changes to base configuration, xmlport amendments and a client visit to run through both after a basic training on Dynamics Nav. As a result of training, some development changes requested so need to quote for and agreed to run a parallel run for a period so the client can check results between systems.
Chased up queries on some development work and on go live dates (data migration work) but Spring Bank Holiday week meant a lot of clients were away. So expecting some feedback this week.
Plans for this week include 4 client visits providing on site Dynamics Nav support [Nav 2013r2, Nav v5DE] with one of these visits being a new client.
That's all for this week folks. Short and sweet and felt busier than it looks above.
